Greece: New Democracy to ’clinch coalition deal'

Athens: Greece is on its way to get a coalition government with the Conservatives saying that they constitute the government with the Socialists and a small center-left party on Tuesday.
Conservative leader Antonis Samaras New Democracy won by a narrow margin in the anti-bailout party Syriza Sunday vote, in urgent talks with other parties to reach a coalition deal.
A senior official of the New Democracy said, "We are going to clinch a deal tomorrow, we will form a government."
Officials are expected to enter the Left Democratic Socialists and easy to agree on a new cabinet.
Sunday's vote, which was held after the May 6 vote failed to bring a fantastic result, also ended without a single party gaining an absolute majority though New Democracy emerged the highest seat grabbers 129 300 Parliamentary seats Sunday's historic vote, won 71 seats and Syriza Pasok 33.
